Are you looking for a pet companion? If so, let me introduce you to the breed, Miki. You have been introduced to my pal, Rerun, but let me share an update and a little information about his breed, Miki.

This photo was taken at the pet store the day he and I chose each other. He looks huge in this photo, however, he weighed around two pounds. He looked like a tiny stuffed animal. Before we left the store, we had named him Rerun Nathan Goldstein. Bobby had always wanted a dog named Rerun. In case you didn't know my husband has his own television show, Cheaters. I agreed to the name not because I was particularly fond of it, instead I reasoned "Well, I guess we are living off reruns, so now Rerun can live off us". It was settled.
When we brought Rerun home, he would hardly eat and didn't seem to like the goat milk much. Bobby and I worked at trying to keep food in him, but he was lethargic. After struggling for a couple of days with feedings, I was beginning to panic.
Then a miracle took place. Bobby reached into the refrigerator and pulled out a smoked duck breast for his own snack. Rerun has always had serious, soulful eyes that seem to look right through you and I believe that is what caught Bobby's eye. Bobby began to cut teeny, tiny pieces of smoked duck to feed Rerun. As I held my new little baby, Bobby began to ply Rerun with duck. The little guy was ravenous and we were laughing at him because it was not only funny, it was a relief to see him eat.
Rerun has been the perfect pet for us. He was ringing the doggy bell to go outside within 7-10 days, I never had a pet potty-training so easily. He is not a yapper. He weighs approximately 7 lbs... after being put on a diet per the vet's recommendation. He gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to greet people as if they are his long-lost friends. He seats himself on top of a pillow for his own comfort and possibly his royal ancestry. Other times he may hide under our bed or under the chair I'm sitting in, but the greatest thing about Rerun are the smiles he puts on people's faces. I can't imagine a day without his presence, a day without morning toe kisses, a day without our puppy conversations. I'm certain he would verbally converse with me if it weren't for the fact that he is a dog, because Bobby and I have decided he has a very strong understanding of the English language.
Some people would ask, "Would you accept the constant responsibility and expense of this pet again". My answer is simple: I am one of the luckiest pet owners ever. I only hope Rerun IF he had it to do over again would choose me.
